You called it - your little sister loved it! I have always been a huge BJ fan, as you know. But mostly it made me think of my little boy singing in front of so many people, and getting just as much applause - it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it! I wish my not-so-little boy would still sing like that......

He's a little blasé on the vocal parts that need a little extra umph ("And the piano it sounds like a carnival, the microphone smells like a beer" for example), but he's flawless on the harmonica parts.

... and the big one too!!

I have to say that I'm not a huge BJ fan. I certainly appreciate his talent, but have never been a big fan. However, last year I had an opportunity to see him in concert (Steve is a huge fan - it was his Christmas present) and his performance was, hands down, the BEST I've ever seen. WOW - even now, remembering it gives me chills. I'd go see him again in a heartbeat!

About the video -- what can ya say? The kid dressed the part, delivered a good show, and even had the girls lined up on the front row!! LOL

Ming does use his whiskers to help him. I watched him trying to go out the cat door to the garage one night. His whiskers kept telling him to stop but his bladder said to GO!

My Tigger was also blind and deaf when he passed away at almost 21 years old. He often walked into objects too. I thought a cat's whiskers were supposed to help in that regard. He died in his sleep so saved me having to make that hard decision. Up to the end, he still purred and liked to be pet.

I've read that it was staged for one of those Gatorade commercials with the crazy sports stunts. Cool catch, though!
