What is QuoteMan?

QuoteMan provides you with a welcome break from computing by occasionally interrupting you to display a thoughtful or meaningful quote. QuoteMan is also fully configurable so that you can:
• Modify its interruption cycle
  
• Have it play a sound to get your attention when displaying a quote
  
• Change the font with which quotes are displayed
  
• Have it "go away" automatically if you aren't there
  

The Quotes

QuoteMan comes with over 500 quotes from musicians, writers, entertainers, philosophers and sports figures. Each quote was hand-picked to elicit thought, invoke humor or provide helpful advice. Here are some examples:

I filled out an application that said "In Case Of Emergency Notify:". I wrote "Doctor"... What's my mother going to do? -- Steven Wright

In addition to all the "canned" quotes that come packaged with QuoteMan, registered users may add their own quotes.

You'll need a Macintosh running System 7.1 with 1 megabyte of free disk space and 400k of memory available.
