<description>Well, I'm not THAT smart. I use red pen so the numbers stand out, that's all. I use a process of elimination so for difficulty levels 1-3 (out of 5), I can do a puzzle without notes or 'erasing.' For the harder levels, I write possible solutions in each square in tiny print, then cross them out as I eliminate them. The level 5 (most difficult) puzzles have lot of red cross-out marks when I'm done! But that's it!

Try going to pe.com, choose Entertainment on the left, then Suduko. There are hints and help that I use in my solution methods.

<description>K Mick and I were wondering the VERY same thing last night- how Maridee uses a pen. My conclusion is that she must be EXTREMELY smart and doesn't NEED to erase.... that's GOT to be it! Cause I erase constantly...... MIck's method.... process of elimination basically-. I think he can explain it better but it's a good method.

I'm off to the store with Dad- gonna get him hooked on these puzzles too. He got me addicted to crossword puzzles several years ago so it's only fair!

<description>I also have become very addicted to Sudoku, can't get enough of it. I print a puzzle every day and I have two magazine PLUS I have the game for my Game Boy. I would love to know Mick's method, maybe I'd even be able to complete the Very Hard ones. And I also would like to know, Maridee, how do you do it in pen? I erase so much I have a pile of eraser shrapnel every time I do one. :)

<description>Suduko--you too? I started them in January and oh boy! It can be addicting. I have a daily Suduko calendar, the daily puzzle in the newspaper, and a daily one in the online newspaper! I use a red gel pen--what about you?
