A friend sent me an invitation to join Shelfari, an interactive website for book lovers. The user interface reminds me of Lala and I immediately blew an hour putting in all the books I’ve read since 1998. Like most Web 2.0 sites, they provide a handy “widget” for displaying your profile on a blog. Here is mine:

Cool Blog Widget! I have been on Shelfari for a couple of months now and just absolutley love it.
Do you know of any good books you can recommend me? How about “Life on the Run”. I have heard some good things.

Life on the Run is pretty good. Not the best basketball book I’ve read but worth reading.
How do I add a friend that I already know the user name for?
Use the “Search” pulldown menu to search Members for the user name. When that user pops up, you have the option of adding them as a friend.
